Before you get there, if you can find a safe place to stop, you can walk over to the first part of the Lake where there is some sort of a Religious Grotto and a small pebble beach. Then carry on until you see the main larger Lake on your right with lots of Tourist Stuff and OK for swimming, picnics and bicycle hire (Including the two and four person ones which are great fun!) A great place for families!

The larger Lake has a large car park at its’ far end which is worth paying for as there are some “No Parking” areas around the Lake. You will find Toilets at the cafe area on your right as you come out of the car park.

The small Church “Chiesa Madoona Del Lago” on the side of the lake makes a beauitiful Photograph and is is worth a quick visit. It also gives you another good elevated view of the lake.
