A Bicycle Of Your Own The best option EVER is to get yourself a Folding Bicycle so you can fit two in the back of a Hatchback car without causing much damage. What fun we’ve had once we got the hang of it, especially with the short 1hr rides and then back  to the car! Ours have full sized wheels but it does take two of ud to lift them into the boot without causing damage. If you are only doing the short leisure rides, then may be a folding shopping cycle with smaller wheels would be ok? <Click Here for General Cycling Tips And Advice> Hiring Bicycles/Mountain Bikes There is a good Cycle Hire Shop in Rocca Di Mezzo just opposite the fountain in the centre. You can hire for one hour or half-day etc and there are designated cycle tracks either side of town. We had to leave our Passport with the guy in the shop but then couldn’t find him when we got back (but that’s another story and, being a small town, you can ask someone where he is!) There is also a Nature Reserve/Visitor Centre just outside Popoli (On the Left, opposite side to the Castle) where you can hire bycicles. At Lago Di Scanno, you can Hire Bycicles of all sort, including the 4-Man Cycle Carts to go round the Lake GREAT FUN!
